South West Road Runners and Exe Valley Rotary Club are excited to announce the 2026 Feighan Fury 10 mile trail race and Templeton Trail 5k Fun Run and Walk.

A tough multi-terrain challenge held around private estates in the rolling hills of mid Devon.

The Feighan Fury is a challenging 10 mile trail race held under TRA rules permit pending - minimum age for entry is 17. Expect hills, woods, trails, rivers and fun with 70% of the course off road and 637 meters of ascent.

The Templeton Trail 5k Fun Run is an unlicensed event (i.e. not held under TRA rules)

The Fury starts at 1030. The Fun Run starts at 1100.

HQ Templeton Village Hall
Temple Cross, Templeton, Tiverton EX16 8BJ

We are a gender inclusive event - where appropriate the prize categories will be considered as Open/Male or Female.

One prize per runner. (i.e. If a V40 runners is the overall winner, the 2nd V40 winner will win the V40 prize)

Every Fury Race Runner gets a technical event vest - (male /  female fit available) - Fun Runners get an event medal.

Please get your entry in before March 1st 2026 to ensure you get a vest otherwise you may miss the order date. We can't guarantee there will be the correct number of all sizes for late entries.

Woman's sizing details can be found here.

Men's sizing details can be found here.

Parking at the Village Hall is limited and available, we strongly encourage runners to car share as much as possible. We may direct you to local hard-standings to make the best use of space available.

The Fury has 3 water stations on the course and water available at the finish line. It's a cup less event, so please bring your own drinking containers. Fun Runners will share one of the course water stations.

A first aid team will be present at the HQ in case of emergency.

There is a cafe at the HQ where hot drinks and food will be available.

Toilet facilities are available at the HQ.

There will be a 4 hr cut off time for the Fury Race.

Our chosen charity partners will be announced by the end of October 2025.

We are promoting the positive mental health benefits of running. Come and join the community spirit and share in the experience of a fun challenge with a big heart.

Anyone for Pickleball?

Pickleball is fast becoming one of the most popular racket sports in the world.

Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.

It has been suggested that Templeton Village Hall should purchase a Pickleball set.

Prior to purchase we are looking for someone who would be willing to set the game up in Templeton and possibly get a team together?

It might be something fun to do on long winter evenings!
